Starting 2023 with a new resolution: to write more
When I was 16, I discovered the Internet and instantly became fascinated by the possibility of sharing content and ideas with the world.
When I was 16, I discovered the Internet and instantly became fascinated by the possibility of sharing content and ideas with the world. Being able to build my own website and publish content is something that completely changed my life.
During the past 20 years, I built multiple blogs. The most famous one is Automobile Propre, which is now the leading website in France about electric cars and the environmental evolution of the car industry. Today, a team of talented writers publishes content daily, and I stopped writing for it.
Before that, I had been running a personal blog like this one for years, in french. Even if there were not a lot of readers, it was a cozy place where I loved to share my thoughts about my favorite topics.
As my companies grew, I lost the time and the habit of writing to focus on other business aspects, such as management and strategy. I removed my personal blog and started using social networks to publish some content.
Recently, I felt the envy to write again, escape social networks' noise, and share more meaningful content. I wanted to return to this cozy place to publish content: my own personal website on the Internet.
I also wanted to write in English. It's a beautiful opportunity to reach a new audience and sharpen my English skills. I recently started to invest more time to make progress in this language. I will share this story in a future post!
Writing was always something essential for me. It helps me to clarify my ideas and then communicate them more widely. At this time of the year, when everyone is making new resolutions, mine is to write more.
I'll do this by publishing on this blog once a week, every Sunday.
It may sound strange to start writing more at a time when AI can write a post for you in a few seconds, but there is definitely a lot of value for both the writer and the reader that the technology cannot deliver!
At the end of the year, let's check if I published my 52 posts and if they provided some value!
